Current Status

Phase 2

Phase 2 construction continues to progress, with the Administration/Media Center roof approximately 70% complete, drywall installed, and painting and MEP installations underway. CMU wall construction is complete at the new Classroom Building, with metal roof truss installation in progress. The parent drop-off loop is operational, with remaining paving, sidewalks, canopies, landscaping, and site improvements to be completed as construction advances.

Phase 3

Phase 3 was successfully completed over the summer, and Buildings 14, 15, and 16 are fully occupied for the current school year. Improvements included new roofing, exterior painting, lighting, window film, and interior upgrades to fire alarm, intercom, IT, plumbing, and other building systems. Construction efforts have now shifted to the remaining campus improvements and new facilities.

Phase 4

Two new portable classrooms have been installed southwest of Building 6 to accommodate students displaced by the demolition of Buildings 3 and 7. Asbestos abatement and demolition of Buildings 3, 7, and the existing cafeteria are now complete. The building pad for the new Cafetorium is nearly finished, and layout activities are underway as construction prepares to begin on the new facility.

Next Steps

Over the coming weeks, work will continue across the Administration/Media Center, Classroom Building, and Cafetorium. The Administration/Media Center will focus on HVAC start-up, interior finishes, and system commissioning, with semi-permanent electrical power scheduled for mid-November. The Classroom Building and Cafetorium will advance through roof truss installation, roofing, building dry-in, metal stud framing, and interior MEPF rough-in. Mechanical equipment installation, exterior pads, and associated system connections will also begin across the new facilities.

South campus sitework will resume with underground storm drainage, retention area improvements, and construction of the fire truck access road, coordinated around ongoing school operations. During winter break, the Gymnasium floor will be evaluated and leveled, with repairs completed as needed to minimize disruption to students and staff. Over the next several months, construction will continue transitioning from structural work into building enclosure, systems installation, interior finishes, and site improvements as the new facilities move closer to completion.
